I picked up this book more out of curiosity than anything else. Honestly though, by the time I was a few pages in, I was hooked. There is SO much to know on this topic that I had never considered. And as I'm dealing with midlife hormonal shifts, sleep disruption, anxiety, this book presents a compelling case for a natural remedy that I'd never considered. Definitely time well spent. Thorougly researched and relatably written. I've bookmarked several passages I want to revist later, as I embark on my own practice.

As a woman going through the changes of midlife, I was curious to read this book. I wanted to learn more about cannabis and how it helps anxiety, pain, and menopause symptoms. Kim Sarsons did a thorough job explaining the different types of cannabis, the history, uses, recipes, and benefits. I worked in a career where I was subject to random drug testing. The thought of using a product like this has not ever been an option for me. After reading this book, it answers a lot of questions that I had never considered. It is definitely worth reading and will change your perspective on the subject.
Reading “Midlife Magic” was inspiring and will be Life Enhancing for me!! I’ve known about “pot” since I was a teenager. However, I never took anymore interest in it, other than it gets you “high”. From Page One, I was fascinated. The author has presented the idea of using cannabis in a, completely, relatable way that allowed me to process new information and really understand the value of this plant within the construct of Physical, Mental and Spiritual Health. My overall health is good but I do have “symptoms” of dis-ease that I live with on a daily basis. (Things like allergies, IBS, poor sleep and those associated with menopause.) I have used marijuana to help with sleep but didn’t really consider the other ways that cannabis could assist with supporting me until reading this book. While I believe pharmaceuticals have their place, I would much rather use cannabis to address symptoms than drugs and the author provides a resource to understand how this might be possible with cannabis.

I’m pretty sure you’ll have all your cannabis questions answered and be confident in your wellness path ahead.
Page after page, I was captivated. I was learning so much and was excited at the prospect of what this could mean for me as well as others in my life. I wasn’t done with the first chapter before I reached out to two other women that I thought could benefit from this book! (A close family member has MS and takes a “hit”, from time to time, to help manage her symptoms but, now, this book will help her understand the plant in greater detail and she may find more ways to use cannabis for relief. It, actually, brought us both to tears.)
